"When I was flying to Dublin I had a fun experience.  I noticed there was a gap in the window next to me and of course I touched the window frame.  It almost came off and I could see air escaping on the outside window."
Needless to say, thank you for your prayers and encouragement during Kevin's trip to Ireland.  We saw God's hand in even in the travel arrangements.  Usually we book the same airline via Chicago, but this time felt that "God voice" saying "use a different airline".  Wouldn't you know it, during the travel dates, our usual airline had surprise strikes and their flights were canceled on the route we normally take to Ireland.   Returning to the States was nearly as crazy, as Kevin arrived into New York (a route we usually dont take) and then transferred into Minneapolis--these were the only two airports that were open due to the big winter storm the first week of February.  Praise God for His direction!

Speaking of direction, that was a large goal of this trip, seeking His direction for our ministry.  As you know we have been praying for direction due to the continued lack of funds and changes within our Galway ministries.  After meeting with Galway Christian Fellowship elders, they felt if best to release us from our contract with them due to changing financial situations and needs on both sides.  It was a decision made through lot's of prayer and done in a very humbling manner.  We are going to miss our friends and the youth of GCF.
The last week has been a time of processing and working through emotions as we are ending with Youth for Christ Ireland as well.  God has shown and grown us a lot during our time w/ GCF and YFC.  We are very thankful for the time that we have had.

Many of you are probably wondering what that means for the future.  Well we do know that our time with GCF and Youth for Christ have come to an end.  However we still strongly believe our call to Galway, Ireland has not.  We are currently praying through some options.  We know for sure that we are in need of more training and mentorship.  Kevin is currently beginning studies towards a Bachelors in Religion.  We are also seeing what options we have in Ireland as we own more things in Ireland then we do here in the States.

We're sure you have questions for those of you who support us monthly financially and prayerfully.     We would appreciate your continued prayer support these coming weeks as we seek for clarity and timing for our next step.  For those of you giving us support, we are planning on contacting you via phone in the coming weeks.  More direction as to where we are at and to our needs for the next month will be given.
The lessons from the latest trip to Ireland ring strong--
that God will guide us.
We will be sharing more details in our newsletter via our blog in the coming weeks as well.  We really appreciate your prayer and support during this time of seeking God for His direction.  As well have been so humbled by your support during this journey to Ireland.  We pray that God would continue to bless you as much as you bless us.
In Him,
Kevin, Maureen, Sarai, Hannah, & Naomi
