Snapshots from Puerto Rico

The last three weeks I have been in Puerto Rico helping close to 200 people serve on mission trips alongside 9 local churches.  Below is a little idea of what I have been up to with Praying Pelican Missions.

My last team Hernando Methodist praying with their host church Villa Carolina.  The Wednesday night farewell service is my favorite stime of the week.  You see two churches who at the beginning of week were on opposite sides.  By end of the week they are worshipping side by side.  It's a special service to be part of.

Carmen and her husband are one of a dozen families that our teams helped this last 3 weeks.
Carmen is wheel chair bound and her husband was diagnosed w/ alzhiemers.  One of our teams
helped paint their house since they dont have the income to paint the house.  Our teams often worked
alongside the local church.

Prayer walking and house visits are a major part of our mission trips.  Our teams work alongside the host church and comes alongside the churches ministries.  Several churches most affective evangelism has been the prayer walks and community visits alongside of our teams.  It has been amazing hearing how people have come to know Christ through the prayer walks and answered prayer.

Getting a chance to take in one of the forts in Old San Juan after
traveling to 6 different cities across Puerto Rico.  All in preparation
for future team.
